So, you may have been wondering what we’ve been up to in the last year. Well, we sold our boat, bought a house & made a person! Dean Sagan Jones, aka Deano Bambino, joined our crew September 20, 2014.

We’re all doing really well and happy to be fully immersed in this new adventure. We do miss our friends abroad. We miss the stars. We miss the sounds and sways of the (friendly) seas at night against the hulls. But, man o man, do we love the dryer! And, the running water. And, OF COURSE, being so close to our Austin family, nuclear and otherwise.

Plus, we make a point to bring the best of our life aboard, into our new home.

And, wouldn’tcha know it? I love being back at work, rep’ping for lady rights on my home turf. Damon also loves jammin’ with his og crew, too.

I’m sure in some years we’ll get serious about getting back aboard. We like to dream of cruising SE Asia with our family like our friends on S/V Totem. But, who knows!? – says Deano Bambino…

Hahahahahahaha, sigh. 

In serio, we are continuing to have lots of adventures – without the boat chores! – both hometown jaunts with fresh eyes, and on new horizons.

Next week, the three of us are headed back to the Caribbean – to Puerto Rico!

Will we take another year to update everyone here? I’m sorry to say, I don’t know.
